BIOGRAPHY

Fanman Meng received the B.Sc. degree in computer science and technology in Shandong Agricultural University, Taian, China, 2006, the M.Sc. degree in computer software and theory in Xihua University, Chengdu, China, 2009, and Ph.D. degree in single and information processing in University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China, 2009. From July 2013 to July 2014, he joined Division of Visual and Interactive Computing of Nanyang Technological University as a Visiting Student. He is currently an associate professor in the school of electronic engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.

He works in the areas of computer vision and pattern recognition. Much of his work focuses on specific object segmentation and detection. He is currently focusing primarily on co-segmentation and saliency detection.
